Ammo by Mig Jimenez. Dark Earth Modelling Pigment – Specialist Model Making Weathering pigment in a 35ml screw cap bottle. Modelling pigments are dry pigment (paint) powders designed to simulate the effect of natural earth build-ups and dirt on models, miniatures and scenery. Dark Earth Pigment is used as a heavy, dark mud pigment typically on tank tracks, vehicle wheels, lower hulls or on model dioramas / landscapes. Modelling Pigment can also be used for augmenting washes and staining areas when used in conjunction with a liquid. Dark Earth modelling pigment is primarily formulated for optimized realism in creating a mud/earth covered or muddy appearance on lower areas of vehicles or scenery dioramas. Dark Earth pigment is matt in texture but can be used in glossy wet acrylic clear paint solutions to depict wet mud.
